Toya Pak Fuller Was Operating Out Of Eisenhauer Market
SAN ANTONIO -- A north side woman has been charged in connection with the sale of imitation designer items, according to a spokeswoman with the Bexar County District Attorney's Office.
A grand jury indicted Toya Pak Fuller, 48, on charges of trademark counterfeiting and money laundering. Fuller was arrested Monday and released on bond later that day.
Adriana Biggs, who oversees the Bexar County District Attorney's Office White Collar Crimes Division, said sheriff's investigators discovered the illegal activity in May. Records show that Fuller originally was arrested on a trademark counterfeiting charge in June, Biggs said.
Fuller was rearrested Monday on the trademark counterfeiting charge and money laundering.
Biggs said Fuller had been operating out of Eisenhauer Market in the 3900 block of Eisenhauer Road, where several independently owned and operated stands are set up in a swap-meet style environment.
Biggs said Fuller had been selling a variety of designer knock-offs, including purses, jewelry, sunglasses and accessories.
The money laundering charge, Biggs said, is a routine part of the case. The indictment alleges the amount of money laundered by Fuller was in excess of $100,000.
