Mumbai: The Special Judge under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) on Monday granted permission to the Enforcement Directorate to interrogate Kolkata-based businessman Kashinath Tapuriah, an aide of Hasan Ali Khan, who has been charged with money laundering.

The ED will question Tapuriah till Wednesday in the Patna passport case, in which forged documents were used to get a passport for Khan. The ED was granted a similar permission by the court on Saturday to interrogate Khan in the case. Both Khan and Tapuriah are in judicial custody.
