A WARRANT by officers from Cheshire Police’s Chester Inner Neighbourhood Policing Team has led to the arrest of a man and woman on suspicion of money laundering.
Officers from the Chester Inner Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out the warrant at a house in Shot Tower Close at about 10am on Tuesday.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of money laundering following a warrant in Chester.
“A small amount of what is believed to be class B drugs and an amount of cash were seized at the scene.
“The 28-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of money laundering and the man, aged 42, was arrested on suspicion of money laundering and possession of class B drugs.”
Both were released on police bail and the cash seized pending further investigation.
