Belgrade. The cocaine boss Darko Saric has been laundering money in football clubs in Montenegro, Serbian Vecernje Novosti daily writes on Saturday.
The Montenegrin unit for fight with money laundering is checking all firms linked with Saric, including FC Rudar from Pljevlja. In the Saric times the football club won the cup and became champion of Montenegro. It is expected that the investigation will reveal more interesting issues, especially if you have in mind the links of the club with the municipality of Pljevlja.
In Serbia Darko Saric is accused of contraband of two tons of cocaine from South America and of money laundering. Collaborators of his have been detained. The trial has started in his absence.
