Nine of them, ranging in age from 18 to 36, were rounded up by police in a series of late-night arrests in the city and the adjoining communities of Mount Pearl and Conception Bay South.
Documents filed with the provincial court in St. John's said the charges include trafficking in controlled substances, namely cocaine and marijuana, laundering proceeds of crime, and commission of an offence for a criminal organization.
