Muscat: On the sidelines of the thirty-sixth general meeting of the Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF) in Bahrain, the National Center for Financial Information signed a memorandum of understanding with the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (AMLCFT) Office in Iraq to foster the exchange of information related to money laundering and related offences.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by Colonel Abdulrahman bin Amer Al Kiyumi, CEO of the National Center for Financial Information, and Nizar Nasser Hussain, Director General of the AMLCFT Office of Iraq.
