Four men, including one suspect from west London, have been arrested on suspicion of money laundering.

Three of the arrests took place in Kensington & Chelsea, including that of a 41-year-old male from west London, a 54-year-old from near Romsey, Hampshire, and a 64-year-old from Southampton, on Wednesday (March 18).

Officers from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) seized a quantity of cash, and a fourth man, aged 54, was arrested later the same day near Romsey, Hampshire. He has also been bailed until July 15.

As part of the operation, HMRC criminal investigators searched four homes; one in west London; two near Romsey, Hampshire; and one in Southampton; as well as one business premises near Romsey.

During the property searches, investigators seized business records and a further quantity of cash.

All four men were questioned by HMRC and released on bail until July 2015. Investigations are ongoing.
