Two women and one man have been charged with money laundering and drug possession, the Department of Public Safety said.
Karl Constantine Pearce, 32, of Miami, Fla., and Gabrielle F. Tillman, 37, of Tucson, Ariz., are not eligible for bond because of several out-of-state charges, jail officials said.
Shanella E. Burgess, 40, of Georgetown, S.C., has a $6,500 bond, jail officials said.
All are being held at the Carson County jail and were charged with money laundering of less than $100,000 and greater than $20,000 and possession of marijuana, jail officials said.
About 12:35 a.m. Saturday, DPS troopers patrolling Interstate 40 stopped a pickup truck and a recreational vehicle just 12 miles west of Conway.
The 1999 Ford recreational vehicle and the 2012 Dodge Caravan were westbound on the interstate and were traveling together, troopers said.
During the stop, troopers smelled burnt marijuana from both vehicles and obtained a probable cause search warrant, authorities said.
Upon searching the vehicle, troopers found $112,273 in the recreational vehicle, a .45-caliber handgun and two ounces of marijuana in the Dodge, officials said.
