(Port Angeles) -- A former adult care nurse has been found guilty of stealing and money laundering from a client.
Forty-five year-old Rhonda Goudie was found guilty yesterday in a Clallam County Superior Court bench trial. Goudie was arrested a year and a half ago after turning herself in to authorities.
Prosecutors charged Goudie stole tens of thousands of dollars by taking extra rent payments from an 86-year-old tenant with dementia at her Olympic RN Homecare on west 11th Street. That man has since died.
Goudie will be sentenced next week. That sentence will include an aggravating enhancement which could lead to a longer prison term. The standard range for the conviction is about ten years.
