NASHVILLE — Murfreesboro businessman Chris Rowland pleaded guilty today to one count of money laundering the proceeds from illegal drug sales in a plea agreement with the U.S. attorney’s office.

As part of the plea agreement, the federal government agreed to drop four other counts of money laundering against him, in addition to two counts involving illegal possession of a machine gun.

He will be sentenced June 2. As part of the agreement, the sentence cannot be more than 37 months.
