ISLAMABAD (SANA): The Supreme Court directed the government on Friday to prepare a new summary into the money-laundering and reopening of Swiss cases.
Expressing serious reservation regarding the summary sent to prime minister pertaining implementation of apex court verdict on National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), the Supreme Court said that even the prime minister was kept in dark in the law ministry summary addressed to the premier.
The supreme court bench was headed by Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, including Justice Raja Fayaz, Justice Jawad idris Khwaja, Justice Rehmat Hussain Jaffri and Justice Tariq Pervaiz.
Nasir-ul-Mulk during the course of hearing remarked, the summary spoke for itself that the government was not interested in reopening the cases.
Justice Pervaiz observed that the prime minister had been presented with perverted summary to keep him in darkness.
The supreme court adjourned the hearing until the first week of July.
