Seven people have been arrested in Cornwall in connection with the suspected unlawful supply of controlled drugs and associated money laundering offences.
During the course of the arrests which took place during the afternoon of Thursday 3rd February in the Newquay and ST Dennis areas, one of those arrested attempted to flee the scene in a vehicle and in so doing collided with a Police motor cycle and another Police vehicle.
Police have recovered approximately £15,000 in cash, together with what is believed to be two kilos of cocaine with a street value of approximately £70,000.
All seven arrested, including six men aged 57, 41, 32, 31, 30, and 23 and a woman aged 35 have been released on police bail until 24th May pending further enquiries.
