GILROY, Calif- Medileaf, a medical marijuana dispensary, is under investigation for allegedly selling marijuana illegally and laundering money.

Santa Clara County Law Enforcement Agencies said that they have been investigating  criminal activities at Medileaf for the last 8 months. They say that the investigation gave them probable cause to believe the Medileaf stores, owners, and some family members were involved in the illegal pot sales and laundering proceeds from those sales.

 According to a news release, several people have been detained but names are not being released at this time.

The locations included in the investigation are:

1) MEDILEAF Store,  1300 block of meridian Ave, San Jose

2) MEDILEAF Store,  2100 block of South 10th Street, San Jose

3) MEDLEAF  Store,  1300 block of 1st Street, Gilroy

5) UR Health & Wellness Center,  16000 block of Monterey Road, Morgan Hill

6) 7100 block of Eagle Ridge Court, Gilroy

7) 1500 block of Majora Dr., Morgan Hill

8) 2100 block of Darnis Cir., Morgan Hill
