YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Youngstown man is sentenced in a local arson plot to collect 755-thousand dollars in insurance money.

Majeed Basazpour was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison for federal charges of fraud, arson, and money laundering.

Prosecutors say he was involved in a plot with others to burn down nine local businesses between 1995 and 2005.

Some of the money was used to buy property here and in Iran.
