A SOLICITOR who was based in Grantham will appear in court tomorrow morning (Wednesday) charged with 19 offences of theft and money laundering.
Jacquelina Olivia Laverick - a former partner at Chatterton’s Solicitors, practicing as Jacqui Johns - will appear at Grantham Magistrates Court following an investigation by Lincolnshire Police.
Laverick was based at the company’s Grantham office, where she headed the wills and probate department.
Four other people will also appear charged with money laundering.
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “Chattertons staff have assisted officers from the Lincolnshire Police Economic Crime Unit throughout their investigations and clients should be reassured that Chattertons’ insurers have covered all losses incurred.”
