A man is to face a Sydney court today charged with more than 100 identity theft and money laundering offences - as the result of a lengthy police investigation.

Police say a 34-year-old Filipino man was arrested at a bank in Campsie in south-western Sydney yesterday.

Investigators say the charges relate to transactions estimated to be worth about $350,000.

The man is the 21st person to be charged by detectives from a strike force that was set up in 2008.

He has been refused bail and is expected to face Burwood Local Court later today.
