Nunes, 34, Also Ordered To Pay Fine

LAS VEGAS -- A Las Vegas man will spend two years in prison after pleading guilty to laundering more than $2,000 in drug money, the U.S. attorney’s office announced on Tuesday.

Shawn Nunes, 34, must also pay a $3,000 fine and he will be placed on probation for three years upon his release.

Authorities said Nunes took the $2,000 in exchange for distributing an estimated 500 Ecstasy pills in 2008.
